Nokia To Introduce Its New Android SmartPhone In 2017

Back in May, the legendary phone-maker stated its plans to launch a new line of Android smartphones and today HMD Global has announced it has successfully secured exclusive licensing rights to the Nokia brand for the next 10 years.

The partnership will see HMD manufacture the first batch of Nokia Smart Phones Powered By Android Operating System in early 2017 with plans to expand its efforts to also include the production of affordable feature phones.

The HMD Statement:

“Finnish company HMD will bring a new generation of mobile phones to consumers, with the first smartphone products set to be launched in the first half of 2017, alongside the existing Nokia branded feature phone business.

The launch of HMD comes just six months after the company signed a strategic licensing agreement with Nokia, giving HMD exclusive use of the Nokia brand on mobile phones and tablets worldwide for the next 10 years.

HMD has developed a unique strategic partnership model that will see it working with some of the world’s leading technology companies including Nokia, FIH Mobile Limited (FIH) and Google. Future Nokia smartphones will utilise Google’s Android operating system, currently deployed on 86 [percent] of the world’s smartphones.

HMD is developing an exciting new consumer centric product range which will focus on innovation, quality and experience, alongside the iconic Nokia mobile phone attributes of design, robustness, and reliability.”

Rumors about Nokia’s Smartphones powered by Android Operating System  comeback initially surfaced back in May, when Microsoft sold the company to Foxconn subsidiary FIH Mobile for $350 million. Previous reports suggested the company’s new smartphones could start shipping as early as the end of this year, but things ultimately never panned out.

Earlier this year, the Finish phone-maker reminded customers of its brand when it surprisingly dropped a new feature phone that looked like it came straight out of the early 2000’s.

And According to my opinion we have to wait of a year for the Nokia’s Android Smart Phone Having  New Technology  and Accessibility.
